David F. Filler, Partner of the Firm, is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law having earned his J.D. degree in 1992 (Associate Editor, Texas Law Review, 90-92). Mr. Filler was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1992, the New York Bar in 1993, the Federal Bar for the United States District Court Southern District of New York in 1993 and the Florida Bar in 2003. Mr. Filler practices in the areas of general corporate and securities law (including financial transactions, partnerships and limited liability companies), real estate, sports and entertainment, energy and gas law. Mr. Filler has assisted clients with a wide range of legal documents, including but not limited to: stock purchase agreements, securities and equity financinings, convertible instruments, bridge loans, debt financings, asset purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, limited liability membership agreements, limited partnership agreements, employment agreements, buy sell agreements, franchise agreements, commercial real estate closings, commercial real estate investment agreements, commercial leases and commercial real estate loan transactions.  In the field of sports & entertainment, Mr. Filler has negotiated licensing agreements and sponsorship agreements with Major League Baseball, the Major League Baseball Players Association, the Heisman Trophy, World Championship Wrestling, Major League Soccer, Universal Studios and Viacom.
